ITINERARY
My Tho Town – Mekong Delta (70 km from HCMC)
On the first destination, you board a boat on the Mekong River and go downstream along Dragon Island to witness daily river activities such as capturing and raising fish in a floating fish farm. Then, you’ll conquer the 3 km-long river.
Next, you get through the canal to the village, visit some fascinating local industries, and stop in the farmer’s house to enjoy some fruits, honey tea and listen to local music. Drive on paths by a motor cart and switch to a small rowing boat along the river.
Have lunch in a local restaurant by the river.
Then drive to Ben Tre province by cab for homestay (15 km away).
Check in. Relax.
Before dinner, you could cook with the host or relax by the pool.
Dinner and stay overnight in Homestay.
If you could, let’s get up early in the morning, and enjoy the peaceful fresh air in the country.

Take a cycling tour (3 – 3.5 hours) around rural villages, stop at the local market, and visit rice paper workshops.
Continue through small paths shaded by green trees and see an immense green rice field in Phong Nam village. Contact with peasants on how to cultivate water rice in the country. Call on brick kiln and coconut charcoal workshop by the way.
Boating back homestay. Have lunch. Relax. Check out.
