ITINERARY:
Day 1: L
Pick up at hotel in HCMC. Depart for Ben Tre ( 86km from HCMC). Boat on river to brickwork to see workers make bricks in handy traditional method. Visite one of coconut processing workshops located along canal run by farmer. Go on natural scissors canals where they look more narrow spreading out to rural villages. Stop at a family who making sleepmats and enjoying fruits and tea, chatting with local people by the way.
Riding on motocart or bike on shady road, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch in local house.Go back to pier by sampan and boat. Overnight at hotel in Ben Tre.
Day 2: B,L
Breakfast. Check out. Go on a journey. Have a look vast coconut jungle and Mekong river from Ham Luong bridge. Stop at Cho Thom – a biggest coconut market in delta. Witness several large handy workshops spreading 3km along riverside, processing products from cococonut.( nut, fiber, oil, pulp…).
Continue to Cho lach. Stop at bonsai garden, Get in Vinh bac nursery and flower village where provides most seedling tree for regions. Lunch at local house. Cross large river by ferry boat. Come to Can Tho by get over biggest suspension bridge in delta. Check in. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 3: B,L
Breakfast. Depart for Cai Rang floating market where locals go to buy and sell a variety of fruits vegetables from boats of all sizes and which is the most original ones and bustling places of the region. Sellers tie their goods to a tall pole so that buyers can see from a distance what they are selling. Seat on local trading boat, witness boasting activities in market, find out local life in stilt house along river. Lunch
Continue the tour to visit Tra Su cajeput forest, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary,cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest ,watching storks ,cranes and other tropical birds .
Check in hotel and relax. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 4: B,L
Breakfast.Visit floating village and ChamPa village(Ethnic minority in Mekong). Back Ho chi Minh city. Tour end.
