Day1: L,D
Depart from Saigon around 8 am and head south to Ben Tre province, famous for its coconut production and quiet, peaceful waterways.
On arrive in Ben Tre town after 2 and half hours driving. Take a boat trip on natural river, get along canal and throughing village to discover rural country, visit local brickiln where making brick by hand and coconut processing workshop along canal, have a look stages of processing from husking out, crack to peel out coconut flesh. Taste some coconut candy by the way in sweet workshop. Lunch in farmer house. Check-in Homestay.
Walking in village, visit famer house weaving sleepmat, making chopsticks, in contact with peasants to find out about how to culture tropical fruit plants in their garden.
Cooking with host in family. Have dinner. Overnight in Homestay.
Day 2: B
Breakfast. Take a bike on paths to morning local market via rice fields and vegetable plain.Visit workshop making rice paper.Continue riding on shady paths, stop at Mr.Sau Khanh’s house – a peasant has collected a lot of ancient ceramics, potteries like bowls,vases and scuptures originally from Asia,Japan,Viet nam. Have a chat, hearing about his adore of ancient collecting and drinking coconut juice, practice climbing up coconut tree with him.
Get back Homestay.Check out. Lunch in local riverside restaurant.(option not include)
Stop at famer house for relax and take row boat on canal. Get back Pier by boat. Tour end
