BIKING PHONG NAM  Ricefield  15 km

ITINERARY: ( 6.30 hours )

 Boat transfer, bicycle, visit coconut processing worshop , rice paper worshop rice field, vegetable plain,    matt weaving house, break down for lunch.

Pick up point : Hung vuong pier, 166 Hung vuong street, Ben Tre town

7.30 morning. Embark a boat on river and go downstream to An Hoa river. Stop on land, visit handy brickiln, charcoal workshop where make raw charcoal by heat and fire coconut shell (after refining rawcharcoal will be a good material for battery industry). Continue visiting a coconut shell husking workshop.See the daily life of farmers and try the hard work taking shell of the coconut, that ‘s unique in country.

8.30 Then bike to Phong Nam village, go through rice paddies, stop for a short walk in the rice field, see the process of planting rice and harvest the crop. Go on winding paths  around the  bitter melon or cucumber farms to a farmer house, contact with peasants find out about rice growing and vegetables.

10.00 Continue biking on path, visit rice paper workshop, local market where is called a center of village in countryside.Stop at local cottage house and discover a tradition matt weaving by hand here and enjoy fruit by the way. Have a chat and interact local people to know how to culture fruit tree in their garden.

12.00 Break for lunch at local house.The hand-rowing sampan slowly cruise under the canopy of water coconut palms along the canals. Our boat will pick us again and cruise back to the boat landing in BenTre town.

13.00 Tour end.
