On this 2-day tour, you’ll visit Ben Tre province, the so-called “Land of Coconuts”. Local cultural interaction, sailing through small natural canals, spending the night in our homestay, sampling local cuisine, and joining cooking classes. You will have wonderful memories to take home.
Once arriving at the Ben Tre pier, let’s take a relaxing boat ride down the natural Ben Tre River. You’ll have a chance to weave your way around the canal and discover the rural countryside. You can also learn more about some of the traditional crafts by visiting the local brick kiln, where bricks are handcrafted, and the coconut processing workshop, where you can see the process from husking, splitting, and peeling coconut flesh. By the way, you can also taste some coconut candy, in a sweet workshop. After spending the morning sightseeing, let’s relax and eat lunch at the farmer’s house.
Then check into the Homestay.
After a good lunch break, you’ll embark on a walk around the hamlet and visit farmers’ houses where they weave sleep mats, and make chopsticks. You may also interact with peasants to learn how to grow tropical fruit plants in their gardens. When we return to the homestay, we can cook with the host’s family or simply rest by the pool until dinner.
Stay overnight at a homestay.
First, breakfast to kick off the day. Then you’ll ride a bike to the morning local market via the vegetable plain. Look at the local items, fruits, and veggies on display in the market’s sections and walkways, and interact with the people. Continue to tour rice paper workshops nearby.

After that, take a tuk-tuk back to the Ben Tre pier.
