Let’s take a new step to another “level” of the Mekong Delta countryside.
On this tour, you can visit the one-of-a-kind place of Ben Tre, the Thom Coconut Market, which is 25 km from the center of Ben Tre city. Right in this place, you can observe every aspect of local life and learn more about how they make different things from coconuts.
Don’t hesitate to go on this tour with us!
Car will pick you up to Mo Cay Nam, Ben Tre, visiting the Thom Market along the river. It is a traditional market in Mekong, trading local products such as aqua products, fish, fruits, clothes, cakes, etc. Walking here, you can sense the real local market life by hearing people advertising products and bargaining.
After that, continue walking along the river to enter Thom Coconut Market. This special kind of market is for boosting the trading of coconuts along the river. You can witness many processing coconut activities in the workshops, such as making oil, coir, fiber, husk, etc. There’s a whole unique picture and knowledge that you can observe and learn on this tour path.
Besides, you can call on a blacksmith oven workshop to understand more about Ben Tre coconut farming tools.
After about one and a half hours of exploring, hop in your vehicle and head to the Son Phu T-junction.
Get far away from a busy and dusty city; deeply discovering the countryside by hopping on a tuk-tuk through Thuan Dien’s tranquil coconut country. Now the peaceful atmosphere begins to cover and heal you with the clean air and cool breeze along the way.
Then, get on a rowing boat and float on the shady small canal. What’s better than sightseeing on the rowing boat while you can hear the trickling water and the sounds of birds singing?
Tourists will have extremely nice pictures of this scenery on the trip.
