Farmers in an area in southern Vietnam’s Ben Tre Province, which has been recognized as the country’s largest fruit tree sapling producer, have adopted new production and promotion methods and thus markedly enhanced efficiency in recent years.

Trees pruned and clipped into animal shapes by local residents in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre have been exported to Singapore and Australia to be displayed at tourism parks. The trees are made by growing ficus microcarpa trees in zinc frames that are curved in the shapes of dragons, rabbits, deer, swans, and kangaroos.
