How’s the weather in VietNam

Are you wondering when the best time to travel to VietNam? Let us provide some fundamental information related to the weather, seasons in Vietnam.

In general speaking, October to April is considered the most suitable for travel. During these months, the weather is generally dry and pleasant across much of the country.

♣In the north, October to April offers cool, comfortable temperatures—great for exploring Hanoi or trekking in Sapa.

♣The central region, including Hue and Hoi An, is best from February to April when the rains have eased.

♣In the south, cities like Ho Chi Minh City enjoy dry, sunny weather from December to April, perfect for beaches and sightseeing. The best time to visit the Mekong Delta region is during the dry season, from December to April. During these months, the weather is warm, sunny, and less humid, making it ideal for boat trips, cycling through villages, and exploring floating markets. If you’re interested in seeing the lush green landscapes and rivers at their fullest, the early rainy season (May to July) can also be a beautiful time, though short showers are common. However, it’s best to avoid the peak rainy months from August to October, when flooding may disrupt travel plans.
